Yên Bái
The place
Yên Bái is a province in northern Vietnam, about 150 km from Hà Nội by road (151.8 km, roughly two hours). In the first episode of the Vietnam series, the scenes on a lake here (the arrival, the boat ride with a local guide, peacock bass on the GoPro) run over Francesco's story of how the adventure started; the rest of the episode is set in Ho Chi Minh City.
